Message	any reason not to just run a jumper from the board connection point and solder it to a rivet head or heads (since it appears to be a ground/shielding connection). Maybe then just re-flow the solder to the gauge connector pins? I'd probably give that a try -- if issues, then do the more rigorous fix?
